It is my understanding that AMZN charges approximately $ 3.00 to ship a CD. With a $ 3.00 shipping charge for CD's is AMZN price competitive with retail outlets ? Comments please. When talking to AMZN personnel this evening I asked if they would be running any new promotions specifically for new customers. The answer was a rather vague "Promotions are run periodically".
