AOL had something more than 12 million subscripts, that is a tremendous influence and power for online business and e-commerical.

NSCP had dominate market share of browser, they used them to leverage their own email clients and their server software. If there was no MSFT's IE competition. They would own the internet, own groupware software, etc. That has even more power and influence. Just imaging NSCP owns 90+% of browser market if no IE, everyone uses Nav and everyone starts internet by going to Netscape Netcenter. Every company tied to Nav also buys internet server software, email client software from NSCP too. How much power that will be? That is what NSCP dreamed of, that is the reason they went to government when they failed to do it in market place.
