I like Wren am evaluating the advice I have recieved from JD
since the end of 1993.To be sure CCR and others have doubled,
tripled even quadrupled over the recent bull market.
I do remember JD doggedly recommending Apple inspite of the
trade publications saying software companies were not supporting the
operating system at the time. JD was convinced the Icons were most
like the asian symbols. Were it not for the deal worked out with Microsoft, Apple would probably be another Commodore.
One of my biggest problems with JD are his unrealistic stock price
projections such as GM being a 100 dollar stock by the end of the year {97} if my memory serves me correctly. He always said that strikes
were good for auto companies. They certainly haven't been good for the stock price.
While credit is due for some picks, there have huge mistakes that
have left some subscribers hope
ing to just get their money back with
stocks such as LSI,CDandCPPKY.
Good luck,
R CHEN
