Jim - regarding ... Cellular One is part of the nation's largest wireless communications network. The Kansas and Missouri operations for Cellular One are owned and operated by CMT Partners, Inc., a joint venture between AT&T (NYSE: T - news) and AirTouch Communications. Cellular One provides voice, data and paging services in Kansas City, Wichita, Topeka, Lawrence and St. Joseph. Please forgive my ignorance, but I thought AT&T is so afflicted with "tunnel vision" regarding wireless (because they spent billions of dollars of shareholders' money on McCaw Cellular's non-CDMA based system) that they act like Ericsson (almost never even acknowledging CDMA's existence). Well, clearly this is not the case; but, if someone has the time (and knowledge), I am curious to know just how much "back door" involvement AT&T has with CDMA stuff. Jon.
