I guess they still want to see Nov. numbers to make sure of the numbers. Very good 3Com move. Just as we were discussing earlier in the day, how to handle preannouncement month. Jives well with COMS product shortages. You see you really can get a handle on a company by looking at your local channel. 2) "....and as we see a strong uptake in the Asian market place." Lord!! Is he suggesting that Asia is picking up? WOW, that would mean a BOOMING '99. More evidence of Asian stability:... This seems to be a general concensus on many of the high-tech boards and firms. It seems the only people ignorant of this fact is Joe Public (no pun intended). 3) I just got this from "CNET NEWS.COM DISPATCH" They have the top three stories of the day. In it was this: 3Com holding tight for strong sales Execs at networking hardware maker 3Com are hoping for a healthy second fiscal quarter. Analysts say that rising company gross margins and a solved inventory problem should contribute to a boost in sales. news.com. Maybe this will boost us to $36 tomorrow. Well I think we will bounce around a bit tomorrow. I still see a couple bounces off of the $35.5 mark (or there abouts).. peoploe who bought at 30 will want to take the 16% profit.. that's a good profit for 2 weeks. Steve
