OT - Wow, and speaking of Gemplus: Abstracted from Zero Un Informatique Hebdomadaire 09/11/98: Gemplus, smartcard reader world market leader, and its partners Kopin (US) and Leti, microelectronics laboratory of the CEA, plan to develop a multimedia wristwatch that will offer TV, phone, GPS, videoconferencing, and secure E-commerce. It is hoped that a working prototype will be available by 2000-2001, according to Gemplus vice president Jean-Pierre Gloton. Credit to Will Tally on the KOPN board. JF
