They seemed pretty emphatic that it was a non-exclusive arrangement. I was surprised to hear Stan saw that the Prius battery provides only a 12-16 mile range on an all electric basis while the Ovonic battery would provide 40ish. I have long assumed we were talking about a much bigger range than that. Did anyone else hear that. Also, I couldn't follow Stan's rationale re: protecting the North American electric car market. If they can make car batteries in Japan for Japanese vehicles to ship to the US, how is the NA market protected. On the other hand, great story!
