development was recovered , the additional copies sold of all Microsoft software products are almost pure profit. Microsoft can integrate the IE into OS and sell them as one single product but still maintain the same price, or they can just let the consumers download the IE free from the internet and sell OS seprately with the same price, or they can let Apple integrate the IE into its OS , but at the same time Microsoft still sell its OS with the same price, it just did not matter how Microsoft wants to sell its IE, the major point is the IE is not free at all, you can only say that Microsoft reduced the price of its products by offering more features . It is claimed as free, but in reality it is not free .
For NSCP, since Navigator is NSCP's only product, if NSCP gave the Navigator free, then there is no other products of NSCP to recover the cost of NSCP, so NSCP really gave its Navigator free, absolutely free.
