As much as I disagree with ttf to the extent that I look forward to my Beringer Chardonnay, I wouldn't characterize his thinking as digging in his heels, refusing to admit defeat or grasping at straws.

I've immensely enjoyed the dialgoue going on in the folder in the last few weeks. It's been highly informative and entertaining, the best stuff I've seen about front-office applications.

When I think of the discussion in terms of "Gorilla Game" terms, I hear Melissa and others saying that front-office product is being adopted at a faster and faster rate, and that the tornado might be forming. I hear ttf saying that there are external factors preventing adoption of the product at such a rapid rate. Geof Moore, co-author of the book, has gone on record that though he thinks the front office space is growing fast enough that it won't be co-opted, he isn't yet convinced of that. Time will tell, and there seems to be enough evidence out that it's not a slam dunk for either Melissa or ttf.

Again, thanks for the great conversation. It will no doubt be even more enjoyable when I'm under the influence of my Chardonnay.
