Multicarrier transmission system patents.ibm.com (granted june 97) Single side-band modulation system for use in digitally implemented multicarrier transmission systems patents.ibm.com (granted May97) Audio decompression system employing multi-rate signal analysis patents.ibm.com (This looks like their ON/OFF the hook detection - granted Feb97) It interesting to note that once a patent application is made it takes about 2-3 years for approval.
