ahhaha...

>>I've never seen as large of a negative money flow as recently<<

I am really trying to learn something here. I will be the first to admit that I do not know anything about TA and charting. I do look at the following chart once in a while, especially before I go short on a stock for a short term trade as a confirmation of other DD that I do.

It seems to me that when the RSI and Money flow are both touching about 20, the stock in the majority of cases will go up, short term. The converse is true when these indicators are close to or touching 80. Naturally any news of the day, will usually blow this very simplistic form of TA out the window.

I decided to check ODIS based on your comment. The money flow indicator seems to have recently touched 20 and is just starting to turn up. The RSI is also starting to turn up as well. Also, looking at the chart over time, the money flow seems to follow a pattern similar to many other stocks I have followed. I might add the damm chart does remind me that ODIS was as high as 11 or so last December!!! Talk about dead money!!

I also modified the chart to show a time period or 200 days on the money flow and it is essentially a straight line at about 60 which indicates a slightly positive bias on money flow in, if I understand the explanations given at the site.

Finally, in case you are wondering, I do not make decisions based on TA not because I do not believe it to be a useful tool, rather, any tool in the hands of an amateur is dangerous, including something as simple as a hammer.

I would like your comments however regarding money flow from the chart in relation to your comment.

Thanks

Bob T.
