Aptis had a "carrier class" architecture (hardware and software) which was capable of addressing the huge carrier opportunity. So assuming that Nortel is using a business case model which calls for cumulative revenue of 8 - 10 times the purchase price over a five year period that would be about @2.5B-$3B over 5 years. Seems like that would be a fairly easy case to build. Given the assets that Shiva brings to the party it would be very difficult to build a similar case.
