Fred: You must not understand what some of the reasons people/companies sue and defend for.

It is just another "tool" in the chest.

You may not approve of it, but it's a fact of life.

From the "defense" side.
Why do you think one reason is that a company will fight a court case for years against "the small guy"?

They are hoping that they will wear his wallet out.

From the "offense" side, there are people that will sue just for the satisfaction.

Now you can yell at me about this, but I didn't make the situations..

I just know that they happen.
