Unfortunately or fortunately, I have not invested money in all picks DELL, CCI, GE, IBM, except for COMS. The contest started Oct 1st.
I say fortunately, because I see your post last week of the returns of your watchlist from that Oct 8 lowpoint, the average return was 27%, if I remember right. Well my returns, I measure from September 16 have been 52%. I have more volatility due to margin exposure, so on that cold day Oct 8, my account was severely hurt, owning CPWR at 38, bought at 50. it rebounded and then I moved on to other stocks, like TLAB, XYLN, COMS, CIEN being my favorites. Probably from the lowpoint, I am up 100%+.
I am certainly happy with this performance but it is after suffering some in the slow falling from July and August. Perhaps the high volatility has more benefits. Well anyway, good luck and thanks for the encouragement. I really like the thread.
