Lytton Minerals Limited annual meeting postponed to November 16, 1998

TORONTO, Oct. 30 /CNW/ - Lytton Minerals Limited (''Lytton'') wishes to
announce that the Annual and Special General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled
for November 4, 1998 will be postponed to Monday, November 16, 1998 at 9:30 am
in Vancouver, British Columbia. The reason for the postponement is that
certain negotiations being conducted by the Company would materially change
the Company's situation. The Company will announce material changes as they
occur. All shareholders should be privy to that information at the time of the
meeting.
Shareholders who have signed and forwarded their proxies need take no
further action. Any proxies that have been received will be counted at the
meeting. The meeting on Monday, November 16, 1998 will be held at the Four
Seasons Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia.
