I'm confused. I thought we were talking about the patent for the glite technology. Is that the patent submitted in 1994?

All I'm saying is that once a company submits a patent no one has access to any information about it. I thought that awre was waiting for the patent on this technology which would mean it's currently being reviewed. If, e.g. others had submitted patents for the same or similar technology, we wouldn't know about that either.

What these patent attorneys and/or patent search companie do is search for current patents. They have no way of knowing if a similar patent is currently under review.
