Tony-------nice work in finding the ITE connection to their website. According to their website, it is a small company with $50 million cap, but important to WAVX in that ITE shipped 18.9 million sets of Super I/O (input/output) controllers which is 27% of the worlds Super I/O market share. Their controllers are used in PC's, consumer electronics, and multi-media products. They have 4 Divisions: (1) PC peripheral products, (2) Windows CE chipsets, (3) Multi-media products (4) and Windows CE System Integrator. They are official Microsoft authorized distributors for Windows in Taiwan.
An interesting note is that their Multimedia Products Div. develops products for modems, USB ( an important way for WAVX to get into PC's that are already on our desktops), and audio and high speed communications.
