Yeah, it is the epitome of hypocrisy {IMHO} but that is the way the cookie crumbles ... and speaking of cookies ...

I know it is probably sacrilege to suggest that anyone actually try to products they are bashing {or supporting} but here is a recipe for a simple sugar free cookie made with TON ... I find them very tasty, but of course 'tasty' is a subjective term ...

2 oz unsweetend chocolate
3/4 cup of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 cup of butter or equivalent
4 tablespoons of TON (vary according to taste)
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of chopped pecans

1) combine flour and baking powder

2) melt chocolate

3) cream butter and TON, then add eggs, vanilla extract and chocolate.

4) slowly blend in flour/baking powder and 3/4 cup of pecans.

5) pour into lightly greased 8" baking pan and spread.

6) place remaining pecans on top.

7) bake in preheated (350 degree) oven about 25-30 min.

Anyway, it is a very good treat for people on a sugar restricted diet.

Anyone else actually try the stuff and have a recipe to share?
