Dear Steve, regarding my statement about everyone being equal. It didn't come out right. What I meant to say was everyone is born pure, with a clean slate. We are not accountable for our ancestors' sins (e.g. "Original Sin" of Adam & Eve). Everyone is accountable for their own deeds. Again, God is the Most Merciful.
You claim that "God died for our sins." This is wrong!!! These notions are arrogant! Why would God go through hassle, He just says "Be" and it is! Regarding the "free ticket to heaven" comment, you say Jesus paid a PRICE. But from a Christian's perspective it IS a free ticket. All you have to do is confess that Christ is your Saviour, and that's it! Your guaranteed entrance into Heaven. Likewise, Jews are the "Chosen People." This is correct in the sense that they were chosen at that time to receive the Message. This does NOT mean that you (Jews and all Jewish offspring) can do whatever you want (i.e. not follow God's Commandments) and expect to go to Heaven automatically. See the similarity of man's arrogance in both cases?
I have just one question for all Jews and Christians?
If you are so confident in yourselves and really believe that Heaven is for you and no one else, why don't you seek death? What are you waiting for? What's the point of this life?
I'll tell you what the point of this life is. This life is a test, a probation to prove your belief in God and His Mercies and to follow the Righteous Path. We all make mistakes, and we all sin. But God is Most Forgiving if you are sincere in correcting your ways. If you continue to deliberately go astray, God will harden your hearts and you will be left alone.
My friends, while God has given us the key towards Righteousness through various Prophets, no one and I mean NO ONE but God knows who will be admitted into Heaven and who will be admitted into Hell. It is by God's Mercy shall we enter Paradise. DO NOT BE ARROGANT!!!!
