Looks like msft has faith in aapl or money to burn ! In case you haven't already read it, read techweb.com Microsoft split off a group of 100 employees to focus on Mac desktop products. I know msft does have money in the bank, but I don't think that Gates wants to throw it away (esp. 100 employees) in a sinking ship !! This was the talk of the day in my opinion. Does anyone know why the volume today grew to a height of 15mil ?? Once the price stabilized around 17 7/8 for the remaining hours of the day, the volume still increased from 10mil to 15mil, yet the stock price stayed unchanged. Is this due to a rough equality to buyers/sellers today ?? If so, it looks like quite a few people bought today, regardless of Prudential, and others downgrading the stock from buy to hold. I did have a buy order in today at $17, but never made it. -Brian
