Micron Technology Inc. (MU) fell as much as 1 9/16 to 38 3/8
after analyst Thomas Kurlak at Merrill Lynch & Co. told the sales
force that yesterday's 12 percent gain may have been premature,
as he doesn't expect the company to return to profitability in
fiscal 1999 ending in August. Micron Technologies makes computer
memory chips.
