I live and die by Technical Analysis. Buried somewhere underneath the piles of crap on my desk at this very moment is a pile of chart paper, a HP Business Calculator and the book "Technical Analysis Explained" by Martin Pring. I use that as my bible when I'm doing TA. Others use "Technical Analysis of Stock Trends" by Edwards and Magee, but I feel that it is somewhat dated. Steve Achelis (sp?) also has a pretty darn comprehensive book out called "Technical Analysis from A to Z" or something similar. All these books are really boring reads, but just chock full of good information. I like to take ALL the major indicators (OBV, Momentum, RSI, MACD, Stochastic, Money Flow, et al) and assign them weights. My success rate at reading tea leaves is pretty good at this point.
