New to the thread, but very much into the SAN world.

My assessment of the situation currently:

- There are only two fibre channel switch vendors that I am aware of:
Ancor and Brocade.

- Discussion with SAN types this week, tells me that Brocade holds
about a 70% market share. (Sorry folks they are currently private)

- Gadzooks (GADZ) and Crossroads (private??) are the two hub/bridge players in the SAN space.

My personal opinion is that a major network player may come along
as the technology matures and buy out these smaller players. So, it may be time to load up on some of this stuff...
