Daniel - re: "If there was something impeachable somewhere else, why did Starr have to embarrass himself with the purple prose masterpiece that didn't mention anything else?"

You may have missed prosecutorial technique in your education, but one of the things a prosecutor can use as a very powerful tool for future or parallel on-going prosecutions is a "conviction" for perjury.

Perjury calls into question any future testimony of the perpetrator in other cases.

Not to be redundant, but, again, lying is a behavioral trait, not an event. Testimony from a known liar is easily called into question, and even Democrats are having a problem with Clinton's view of honesty, particularly since many of them are finding themselves being pushed further and further down the list to receive campaign funds from the DNC.

Bill's turning out to be not only a liar, but an expensive liar, at that, and being a lame duck means they are wasting a lot of contributions on a loser.

Mr. K.
