Hurler Syndrome- Phase 3 Trial Results- This thread is awfully quiet. I note that GENZ released positive phase 3 trial results at a medical conference today on the Hurler syndrome drug being developed with a private company, Biomarin. Does anyone have further information on the potential market for this drug, and what the likely time frame for FDA submission and approval? My impression is that this could be a nice profitable little niche product, but who thought several years ago that Cerezyme would be an eventual 400 million per year product? Genzyme strikes me as loaded with great pipeline products, including the transgenic goats held through the controlled affiliate GZTC.
