TED! I work down the road from LTCM. They used computer models largely based on technical analysis - and their "intuitive feel" of the market. They, like you, gamble. Although they based their gambling on a system - a faulty one but a system- whereas you appear to base yours on vague assertions. Fundamental analysis, on the other hand, is practiced and preached by Warren Buffett, who, I'm sure you realize, has had a much better record. Would you buy a painting at an art gallery for whatever price your buying stocks for without checking to see if the signature was forged, if the paint would chip off in a week, if it went with the other things in the house, if it had a track record of appreciating in value, etc? One more question: have you ever taken an accounting or finance class? |
