You sounded like my Oxford-trained mathmatician friend who was forever looking for "opportunities" like that to have an academic sermon..<g>

At the time I bought INTCW, I think, INTC was traded at the low 50's.

Also, my first lot of INTC (the stock itself) was bought in September 1989 at the split adjusted (twice) price of $10-11. I have been adding to the position every time Tom Kurlak and the likes downgraded the stock. No complains there either.
