Don,
Just a quick question. If Syquest went into receivership or bankruptcy would you or your firm handle this type of Auction of Syquest drives etc. Not being nosy just curious.I am waiting for a recent financial statement and then I will try to answer your question about receivables.
In re-structuring sometimes a company concentrates on R&D as you probably know and pass the marketing and A/R function to a firm that specializes in the same or to put it simpler concentrates on their strengths while allowing someone else to correct their weaknesses such as lines of distribution, marketing, advertising and even production.I was merely stating that with them meeting CIBC Oppenheimer to discuss options that they are being responsible enough to know they have carved a nice niche and to me this is an admission that they want help to save it rather than most small companies that just throw in the towel.
I don't want you to think for one minute I am hyping.Just waiting to see what comes out of the meeting with CIBC Oppenheimer and hope that some people that got caught and are sitting with expensive paper in this company see some return on investment.
I expect as I do that something positive will come to fruition with this stock.Either a merger, takeover,or new financing as well as a strutured plan for a turnaround. Call me the eternal optimist but I like these doghouse style investments. The risk is here but the turnaround is bitter sweet.
Most people that are in this stock are so for there own reasons and as always people should do their own DD first and be wary of the risks involved.Good Luck all.

Regards
Osprey
