You and I would consider it so, but there are actually
NSA specifications that require overwriting multiple
times (like hundreds) before a disk is considered clean.
Although we may yuk (in fact, yuk yuk), there ARE
conceivably ways to retrieve a previous bit pattern
from a medium, given enough patience and money.
