Hi Michael:

purgatory for a while...

Yes, I have been in the semi land and have suffered greatly for being there for the past 4-5 months or so! However things have changed now (or at least they seem to be). As for SUNW, after selling 90% of my almost 4 year old SUNW shares earlier this year in the $46-$47 range and shifting the money into the semi and PC stocks (and some highly speculative stocks!), I have bought 50% of may shares back with new money (at $40, $49 and mostly $52). I plan to add to my shares again. It seems SUNW is finally getting the respect it deserves. I think the stock is a bit overbought at this time and a pull back to the mid to high $40's is possible. But I personally buy if the stock drops to below $50/shr.

Sun just released a set of Java based speech recognition APIs and in my view that is going to cause a whole set of brand new startup and entrepreneurial companies. I think we will have a similar situation we had back in 95 when entrepreneurial spirit started to take over Silicon valley causing a new era for Sun Microsystems and its internet computing model. The next era for Sun and next generation entrepreneurs will be in voice and speech recognition (at least this is something I am very much excited about and see as the evolution in internet computing).

Anyway, we are living in very interesting times.

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi
