So, if you do not buy the browser from MFT, then the price of OS is $9. However, if you buy the browser from MSFT, then the price of OS together with IE is $18. What is wrong with this pricing policy ?
If MSFT did not enter the Browser market, then with 90% of the browser market back in 1995, NSCP can absolutely control the market of Browser today, then you will see the price of Browser shot to the moon. With 100% control of the browser market, NSCP can well control the internet service market, then your monthly fee
to access the internet can be as high as $100 . With IE in the market , the browser market reach to an equilibrium level, i.e IE has 60% while NSCP has 40%, that is why the price of browser is cheap today. So, IE really give consumers more choice. So, what is wrong with it ? DOJ filed suit against MSFT to help NSCP's monopoly in the browser market. How strange it is !!!!!!!!
