Bosco,
good to hear You are into NT. A company I really admire. They also have the "Powerline" technology, a way to transfer high-speed high-bandwith data over the power grid's lines. This gives CLEC (local carriers) immediate access to subscribers without having to invest in new last-miles infrastructure. So, this technology solves a critical bottleneck these times.

Regarding HDS, I'm not too turned down. Way back I found some none-redeemable preferred stock issued, someeting I didn't like, because they are carrying high interest-payments - in a time where 30 year T-bills settle for 5%.

You know I had my share of wrong decision: HICO, AMUT and even more grim MIDL (grrr !).

EBSC I do like very much, alongside STRX. Could feel I'm getting into both.

Regarding the election, I would often find myself between a rock and a hard place - if I had to vote in You country (not a US citizien - You know). OTOH, I have strong Libertarian leanings, so I would vote for non-RR Replubicans that are fiscally quite conservartive, like Mr. Forbes or Jack Kemp. OTOH, I detest tendencies to legislate morality, - believe me Patrick Buchanan, Ken Starr or the Lewinsky affair really turn me off. You won't believe it that I do find myself better served by "New Democrats", be it Blanche Lambert Lincoln in Az. or Tony Blair in the UK. However to choose from the "Old Left" (Labour's tax & spend) to the "Old Right" (Thatcherism, Reagonomics) my choice is clear. At least in races like Boxer vs. Fong, Mosley-Brown vs. Fitzgerald my choice would be clear.

I once had the honour of chatting to Rep. Kyle (Arizona GOP). He called this set-of-ideas "bedroom liberal". He also mentioned the GOP electorate to consist of such people to 25-35%. Means that I'm not alone. Good to know <g>

Regarding cynicism I know this too well <g> Especailly when You got my mind-set..

best regards
CROSSY
