Isn't John 3:16 the famous ....He loved the world?
Then why did he inspire the Bible to tell the people of the world that nothing existed beyond a small region in the Middle East. Explain why his "word" required that Galileo had to be imprisoned because he went against the "word" and its intrepetation of the earth's position in the universe. Dan, why be so selective as to use John 3:16, why not cite some of the classic examples of the hatred, murder, incest, mayhem, and sex. You name me one other book that has such content and tell me that many of you religious fanatics wouldn't be clamoring to have it banned. Such hypocrisy from you zealots, all the while you keep editing the Bible to make it palpable to support your ideology. How can you rely on such a book that has to go through such editing and revision...don't you think God could have gotten it correct the first time. I know! It is MAN that is changing it. For such an infallible book, name me one other that has caused so much hatred in this world against fellow human beings.
Dan, can you explain to me why the generations of children born in remote villages in the far reaches of what we now know as China, are doomed to Hell because they were never "reborn" to believe in your God. Remember Dan, it was your "God" and his infallible book that told the people of your faith, that these children didn't even exist. Dan, why can "your" God be so selective to let you be the "chosen one" and finally, why did he inspire a book that caused the largest Christian denomination in this country(Southern Baptist) to be formed so that they could keep the African-Americans as their slaves. Talk about destroying family values...Yep! It is okay to destroy them(familiies) if they just happened to be born with dark skin and have to be the scapegoats of YOUR GOD and suffer his wrath. Just think Dan...it is one's skin color that causes them to suffer your God's wrath. Dan, why is it that I think you have white skin? |
