Alfredo, <<I think Remicade will be good for rheumatoid arthritis. Saw an article done in England with very good data.>>
D'accordo e buona fortuna!
Been in and out of CNTO for many years - started buying/trading when 14 and have persevered through the disappointing septic shock days. It has never taken good news very long in that it would quickly rise but to go south soon after. I mention this for one particular reason: maybe things have changed; i.e., on Friday morning the stock dropped around 2 points in the first hour but recovered nicely to close at 44 1/2 (-1/8 for the day).
This is very impressive from a TA standpoint. Take a look at the yearly weekly closings. Hopefully, there will be enough momentum to push the stock to higher ground with the AHA meeting of 11/8, etc.
On the other hand, this might be just another false signal.
Ironically, I must mention that CYPB's prosoba column was recommended for FDA approval by the panel on Thursday (the stock was halted all day, I believe)...this is another procedure for moderate to severe RA when certain other drugs fail. On Friday morning the stock opened up around a point but closed lower...but CNTO, after dropping like a rock, did recover nicely!!! HOPEFULLY, REMICADE WILL BECOME A REALITY 'PRESTO'!...
In regards to CYPB, it's a no brainer that prosorba will be approved and the stock will move up accordingly...but the competition is getting fierce; i.e., IMNX and CNTO (Remicade in the works)...IMHO.
