NW, Interesting, I am pretty much in the same mode... retired early and, although I've been doing some heavy volunteer effort, I am not satisfied. Seems like "talented" volunteers can be ignored because orgs don't pay! Quite a catch 22.
So... I don't know how to start it, other than to spam CPQ a few million times each day (g)! Actually the same logic that "retail stores" use would work even at the level of totally independent shareholder/sales people, that is, if we own shares in DELL, CPQ, HP, and IBM then we could play the same role with each company and sell their products on the same basis. I know, I know, heretical for single individuals to sell more than one company's comps, but at some point in dealing with customers it probably will become apparent that they have a preference for onr company or another, or one product over another, and it would be easier to sell from a very wide cafeteria of choices than not.
I also have a CPQ laptop, an Armada 1540 from last year, which would work very well. Maybe that's part of the entry criteria: 1. shareholder 2. owning a laptop (CPQ) 3. willing to have credit check 4. else?
