Johnathan,
Tax selling should go on all month, earnings will be poping up this month, and it will all start with the election Tuesday. I am not backing down from my position of the market at 6500 by end of year. I do like the way some of the companies we have are at a bottom or close, and if the market reacts like I think these companies can hold at present levels and if I am wrong, and the market rebounds all the way, what have I lost. These companies will go with it, and I will have an opportunity to invest in solid companies at rebounding prices, not such a bad position to be in, in my opinion.
While I am busy with work, I have to be at least caught up, before I travel, I will try to spend some time this week looking for a couple of plays. SEG is moving up, and the volume is high, premium is way up in the options, this one is going to 30+ in the next few weeks, and if I am wrong, about 6500, it goes much higher. FILE has performed so well that it is time to buy for a hold as well as play the moves for the quick dollar, buy 1000 and sell 500 at 12 -13, hold 500 for long term. I will do this because I have already hit this one for a nice return. Worst case it falls back and I own 1000 and they will be a 20+ stock in the future. Little risk, good potential return.
Have a great week end.
Chatlie
