Easy,
I just finished reading the other AMDL thread on SI from around the August timeframe to the present. There were several posts you made where your sense of humor really got to me--I was almost laughing out loud. Your ability to keep your chin up in the face of adversity (a 20-to-1 RS...ouch!) makes you an asset to a thread.

Now, on the business side of things, AMDL looks very risky to me. I've been investing for only about a year, so I'm no expert, but my understanding is that when a reverse split occurs, it is supposed to be a devastating sign for a stock. Statistically, I don't think it is common for a stock to recover. When contemplating an RS, there are supposed to be other methods a company can take to solve their problems and an RS is said to be choosing the worst one.

I also have come to form the opinion that having a knockout product is no sure sign that the company will prosper. No doubt it helps--and if it's really good I suppose nothing will stop it--but market share, competition and smarter business minds could be out there to thwart one's ways. I'm into computers so what comes to mind for me is the Macintosh/IBM PC rivalry of the 80's. The Mac had it all over the PC in so many ways, but the PC world marketed themselves as a "business machine" and cast the Mac as a "toy" and history tells us the rest.

I guess my point is that AMDL seems to have people at the helm that are not very business smart. I may be wrong about that, but it is the perception I get looking at the stock price for the past year and reading the SI talk.

I wish you good luck though. A part of me wants to talk you into dropping AMDL and planting your money elsewhere, but I figure that if you're still pro-AMDL after all that has happened to this stock, then your mind is made up. Then I start to think about how respectable that is. I mean you will not give up the ship! If for some reason you do leave AMDL, there are a great many threads that would benefit from you're kind of determination.

Finally, let me leave on this upbeat note: BNEZ (I don't own shares, but I follow it) recently went through a reverse split and their stock got as low as around .17. Then good news came out and the stock went ballistic, going past $1 in a matter of days. The stock has now settled down to around .31/share but the spike drew a lot of attention to the stock and has many people thinking it's a sound play. The moral is, of course, that good things can happen after an RS.

Again, good luck to you,
Chris
