Jenna, I took an early position in STRX, one of your November earnings play. I was watching the action on STRX near the close and the last half hour saw a quick drop in price then huge volume pushing the stock higher. Any opinions on this movement? ONE OF THE REASONS I TOOK AN EARLY POSITION: Star Telecom sees record results in Q3 SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Oct 8 (Reuters) - Star Telecommunications, Inc., a multinational long-distance provider, said Thursday it expects to report record third-quarter earnings and revenues. The company said in a statement it was releasing the projection in response to recent investor inquiries and volatility in the stock. Star, which did not detail its earnings figures in the statement, said it plans to release results on Nov. 12.
