pedantic and proud -- who says a college education is useless? :-)

i fear, though, that this year may be the end of the under-valuation of intel. it can't go up like this forever. fy97 earnings around eight bucks -- so it should be a $150 stock if it's priced as a chip manufacturer, or a $250 stock if it's priced as a high-tech company. maybe the new wave of innovation in intel will be giving flash and a higher profile to their products. one of the intel execs was recently quoted as saying that he wants to create "lust" for intel products. if there's lust for the products, can intel start trading at multiples like cisco's? or even netscape's! (ok, the netscape part is just a joke, albeit a wishful one) comments?
