Fidelity is about as slow as they come. I use Dreyfus and it takes 2 or 3 screens before the trade is entered. Useless for scalping during short surges, but ok for intraday trending.

For sure! The only way to day trade 1/16ths or 1/8ths is either with an MBT/Cyber/Watley type deal or with a patient broker on the phone with you for an hour at a time while you trade (what I'm doing at Fido and what Yamner promotes). Virtually impossible through multiple screens or typical broker web-sites.
