if you can time these things you must not work for a living or you sit in front of a computer all day i work at least 4 days/week and cannot buy and sell except for a short time in the morning my tactic: when the price really surges sell about 1/4 to 1/3 when it drops, add a little drops a lot dollar cost average in over weeks to months i seem to beat most mutual funds and outperform the market just need to pick the right stocks my intuition says that seek will not fly fast but it will eventually be a challenger for yhoo, aol, etc. in eyeball terms back in the early 80's when it was a toss-up between msft and aapl, it was tough to see the winner the answer was in management: msft hands down management of seek is now disney + motro i think they are both competent and disney over the long term is one of the world's greatest franchises i am holding and buying the dips notice that with bad bad news the stock still rose 3 points for the week curtis
