There si one thing to be said for Cable. Cable operators are tradionally much better at switching to new technologies than phone companies (I mean just look at the switching station in most parts of the world, they are very old and need urgetn replacement). Cable being newer has a much better laid out infrastructure.. Ofcourse this is just a generalization.
