This is the Question:
Of the 8000 tons short position that every gold bug speaks of, how much of it is uncovered shorts?

I've shorted ABX a year ago. At the same time as I owned it. Just to ride the price either down or up, and than sell or buy one of the positions in a volatile day. If I were a CB, I may short the GOLD price, well before lending some of it out, and than buy it back just to add support. Thus lending it out again. Especially if I was some country that didn't report sales....

It's only one question, surely it can't be that hard to answer?
