Since you trade options, you might be able to help me understanding something.

1/ When I look at the option Chain, there are 2 kind of options, some code starts with ALA others with YD. Any idea why?

2/ It does not matter if the difference is only a code one, but the price is very different, and this is where I am lost.

For instance a call strike price 20

- with exp. date of December 98,
ALALD last price Friday 3 1/2

- with exp. date ofJan 99,
YDIAD last price Friday 1 5/8

It seems that there is a 1 to 2 coef, but I do not see any reason.
Any idea?
Thanks
