Darbes , re. AMD has to show they can make earnings consistently Until Q3 they did not have either volume or sales ,obviously it is very difficult to make good earnings without them . Now they have both . All top 5 retail PC cos. plus 3.8M k6-2 going to 5+ M k6-2 in Q4 . Also as the volume increases AMD can concentrate on making higher ASP chips . Everyone treats AMD as if they are the new kid on the block a recent PR referred to AMD as the grandfather of semi-conductor cos. Which is true since they have been in business since 1969 . They have been in this position before and know how to capitalise on it . Brian
