Just to add my humble opinion on the subject.... First, deceiving or attempting to deceive readers with a post (either a positive or negative deception) is the worst thing you can do here. It is out-and-out wrong, and probably illegal. Second, personal attacks on the character or intelligence of others who post here is the next item on my list of bad things posters do. Third, bashing a stock with statements that have no substance (simply saying the stock is bad, or is going to tank, without specifying facts to back up your opinion) is next on my list. This is even worse if done with a nasty or taunting tone (usually combined with a personal attack). Knowledgeable investors and those who have done or read solid DD to the contrary usually just ignore or bash back. Finally, the least offensive thing on my list is getting carried away with exuberance, once again either positive or negative. Positive exuberance just requires the "grain of salt" technique, but negative exuberance usually turns into bashing. Just my thoughts... Dave D
