I'm a new NT user now. I love the freedom I'm getting in opening lots of software simultaneously, but I have lots of questions. Hope no one minds if I start with a couple. (I was thinking about starting an NT thread, but my threads tend to be very unpopular).

1. Does the task manager describe all potential limitations on use of system resources. I only see memory and CPU. No GDI, User et cetera?

2. I'm really disappointed about NT not saving passwords. I had a utility in Win98 that would press enter automatically, so I never had to stop for password entry. Just flashed right through, like those electronic sensor thingees at tollbooths. Any suggestions?

Thanks and more questions coming.

peter
