Osprey I use Scotia and they are good. However, In a SDRRSP acct which I rarely use, I dumped some CRN at 1.12 - an odd lot of 1800 shares - I wanted to buy some NAI or DML right away. The VSE was way behind with confirmation. The problem with a RRSP act is they need the confirmation of sale and funds in the acct before they will execute a buy with those funds.

Having said that, she called up the trades screen and seen the 1800 sold by scotia and printed it and used it as confirmation. Now they now me really well and I work next door.

Scotia is weak on the net orders which are cheaper. It is really slow and they do not take orders after 4:00pm EST. I use the phone for 90% of my orders $25 a shoe if under $2000 - a bit more if above $2000 ( varies). I use the on line if I know I want out or in at a specific price.

SW should get trading accts going and make it quick - The chief is really the expert on this. All online orders still must be manually verified by your local broker who then send it to the trading floor. The Chief has mentioned he is trying to get this stage bypassed - Go back a few eeks on the daytrading thread. he talks in depth on it.
