Douglas McLean President and General Manager
Mr. McLean received his formal training in computer sciences and programming with
the Government of Alberta. In 1965 he moved to British Columbia and joined I.B.M.
Canada Ltd. where he was employed in their Vancouver Data Centre. In 1968 he
joined a large I.B.M. based computer service company where he held positions as
Programmer/Analyst, Systems Analyst and Corporate Account Manager.

In 1971 Mr. McLean founded Canadian Data Processing Corporation, which grew
under his direction into a multi-disciplined computer service company, employing up to
100 people, providing state-of-the-art, on-line computing services. In addition to his
responsibilities for overall management and corporate planning, Mr. McLean took a
direct management role in the company's systems development activities, and was
specifically responsible for strategic software product planning and service offerings.

Mr. McLean consolidated some of the services and product technologies of Canadian
Data and the research companies to form Markatech Industries Corporation.

Mr. McLean has accrued many years of experience acting as an officer and director of
public companies where substantial funding were successfully raised for the
development of corporate plans.
