Clarence,

I'm convinced the P5-180 and the Celeron are/will be fine. But I'm a little concerned the P5-166 is a fire hazard - but moving on for now.

MB to mount on back-plane, CPU to install, sound card on site, CD-ROM here and available to bolt in, HD#1 here. So I can get my IDE1 all set and hook the CD-ROM and sound-card together. Can run the floppy controller ribbon cable up to the top of the case. Get the speaker, reset, HD1-led and HD2-led cables from the case hooked on the MB. Then just lacking 3.5" and video card(s) to start applying power.

Anybody know if the bios will recognize an IDE video card? Not for multiple monitors, just to get up and running and to be removed just as soon as an AGP or PCI ATI card arrives. Hmmm, for that matter, I've got an old 5.25"/3.5" drive in that old case also.

Paul
